NY同時多発テロの日の日記です。
あのテロ事件から５年がたちました。
あっという間の気がします。
あの当時を振り返って見たいと思います。
5yrs have been past, but many people are still suffering from the memory of the terrible terror.
I was in NY on the very day of the attack.
My class started from 8:40, so I was on my way to the class by my car on R495 from Queens to Long Island.
It usually took circa 40 to 50 minutes at most, but this day was a little bit different.
The traffic was somehow heavier than usual, and I thought there had been a big car accident or something...
Because of the traffic, I was late for the class, which was an unpopular one coz the professor was talking in very soft voice and the lecture was not really organized.
Class was as usual, boring...
(Actually, I enjoyed many other classes, but not this one)
When the class finished, one of my friend, Sam came to me and said something like;
"Yo, I'm not sure but I think I heard the car radio said a trailer hit the World Trade Center on my way here, Coz the radio wasn't clear. Man, but, yo, truck crushed into the World Trade Center. It's impossible. Didya hear anything?"
I had no idea about it and said,
"No idea, but man, if it is true, I gotta be kinda terrorism. Otherwise it can't be happen. Did anybody talked about it in the class?"
He said,
"No, dude, nobody said nothing."
Everybody's already left the class at the time. So, I suggested,
"Hey, let's go to the library. Maybe we can find something in internet."
So we went.
